(I) Control Settings
We recognize that everyone has different concerns about privacy. Therefore, we provide some examples of the various ways provided by the product for you to choose to limit the collection, use, disclosure or processing of your personal information and control your privacy settings:
- Log in or out of your Smartmi account;
- Click "+"-"Add Device" on the Smartmi Link App device page to bind the product;
- After adding the device, click "Settings-Delete Device" in the APP plug-in to unbind the product;
If you have previously agreed to our use of your personal information for the above purposes, you can change your decision at any time by contacting us at software@smartmiglobal.com.

In accordance with the laws and regulations of the country or region to which you are subject, you have the right to request access, correction, and deletion of any personal information we hold about you (hereinafter referred to as request).
For more detailed information about the personal information in your Smartmi account, you can access and change it by logging in to your account through your device. For other information, please contact us by sending an email to software@smartmiglobal.com. Most laws require that requests from personal information subjects must comply with specific requirements. This Privacy Policy requires that your request must meet the following circumstances:
- Through our dedicated request channel, and for the sake of protecting your information security, your request should be in writing (unless local laws explicitly recognize oral requests);
- Provide sufficient information to enable us to verify your identity and ensure that the requester is the subject of the requested information or a legally authorized person;
Once we have sufficient information to confirm that we can process your request, we will respond to your request within the time specified by the applicable data protection law. Specifically:
- Based on your request and applicable laws, we can provide you with a record of the personal information we have collected and processed about you free of charge. If you make other requests for relevant information, we may charge you a reasonable fee based on the relevant applicable laws and actual management costs.
- If you believe that any information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, you may request to correct or complete the personal information based on the purpose of use.
- According to the laws and regulations applicable to you, you may have the right to request us to delete your personal information. We will evaluate your deletion request and, if it meets the relevant requirements, we will take appropriate steps, including technical means, to process it. After you or we assist you in deleting the relevant information, due to applicable laws and security technologies, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding information from the backup system. We will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until the backup can be cleared or anonymized.
We have the right to refuse to process requests that are meaningless/entangled and repetitive, requests that undermine the privacy rights of others, extremely unrealistic requests, technical work that is disproportionate to the request, and requests that are not required to be given according to local laws, information that has been made public, and information given under confidentiality conditions. If we believe that certain aspects of the request to delete data or access data may prevent us from legally using the data for anti-fraud and security purposes, we may also refuse.

(III) Withdrawal of consent
- You can withdraw your consent by submitting a request, including the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal information that we hold or control. Depending on the specific service you use, you can contact us by sending an email to software@smartmiglobal.com to perform the relevant operations. We will process your request within a reasonable time after you make the request, and will no longer collect, use and/or disclose your personal information thereafter in accordance with your request. You can also withdraw your authorization by clicking "Privacy Management-Legal Information-Withdraw Privacy Policy Consent" in the App.
- Please note that your withdrawal of consent will lead to certain legal consequences. Depending on the scope of information you authorize us to process, this may result in you not being able to enjoy Smartmi's products or services. However, your decision to withdraw consent or authorization will not affect the personal information processing previously carried out based on your authorization.

(IV) Account cancellation
If you want to cancel your Smartmi account, you can cancel your account by clicking "Privacy Management-Cancel Account-Continue to Cancel-Confirm Cancellation" in the Smartmi Link App. When the account is cancelled, the following will be deleted: including but not limited to user account, user password, user nickname, user avatar, user creation time, user login time, user device data, user feedback data, and no additional retained data. Since the operation of canceling a Smartmi account will prevent you from using Smartmi's full range of products and services, please proceed with caution. In order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of you or others, we will determine whether to support your cancellation request based on your use of Smartmi's products and services. For example, if there are unpaid installments, we cannot support your request immediately.
